Society information

The Korean Ceramic Society (KCerS) was established in 1957 to develop the industry and related science and technology. Every year, the KCerS holds the spring and fall academic conferences where participants share and discuss the latest research results. In addition, the KCerS publishes 'Journal of the Korean Ceramic Society' in English and 'The Ceramist' in Korean.

The Ceramic Society of Japan (CerSJ) was established in 1891 to promote the development of industry, science and technology related to the ceramics field. CerSJ is the only comprehensive organization concerned with ceramics in Japan that brings together the industrial and academic sectors.
