Liu Yi
Liu Yi is a professor of education in the Department of Applied English at Zhejiang International Studies University, China. She is an education researcher with research interests covering multicultural learning and teaching in second/foreign language learning and teaching, English curriculum and pedagogy, English teacher education, and social linguistics. In recent years, her research has focused on cross-cultural communication and teaching in a local Chinese context. Sun Shunu
Sun Shunu is an Associate Professor of Linguistics at Zhejiang International Studies University. She received her Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Zhejiang University, which further enriched her academic experience as a visiting scholar at North Carolina State University in the United States. Her research interests, anchored in intercultural communication, focus on intercultural adaptation theories, intercultural communication competence, and intercultural education, which she has published extensively. Her latest books are A Critical Discourse Analysis of News Reports: Mattel’s Recall of Chinese-Made Toys in The New York Times and China Daily (2018) and Intercultural Adaptation Theories (2021). She also serves as the advisor for the World Council on Intercultural and Global Competence.
