ABSTRACT
The subject of this article are two wooden frames of stock-anchors discovered by fishermen in 2011 off the coast of Karaburun, Istanbul, in the Black Sea. Documentation has revealed that the remains consist of four pieces belonging to two distinct wooden frames. Carbon-14 analysis dates the anchors to between 580–460 BC. The preserved length of Karaburun Anchor 1 (KA1) is 460.5 cm, with an arm span extending to 184.5 cm. Karaburun Anchor 2 (KA2), with fewer preserved parts, is estimated, based on reconstruction, to have a length of approximately 502 cm. Both anchors primarily used mortise and tenon joints for their connections. It is believed that each may have had a stone stock weighing between 200–240 kg.

El tema de este artículo son dos anclas de madera con cepo descubiertas por pescadores en 2011 frente a la costa de Karaburun (Estambul), en el Mar Negro. Documentos han revelado que los restos consisten de cuatro piezas que pertenecen a dos anclas de madera con cepo diferentes. Los análisis de datación de carbono 14 fechan a las anclas entre 580 y 460 a.C. La longitud preservada del Ancla Karaburun 1 (KA1) es 460,5 cm, y el ancho de su brazo mide 184,5cm. Basado en una reconstrucción, se estima que el largo del Ancla Karaburun 2 (KA2), de la cual se conservan menos piezas, habría sido de aproximadamente 502cm. Ambas anclas utilizaban principalmente uniones de mortaja y espiga. Se cree que cada una habría tenido un cepo de piedra que pesaba entre 200 y 240 kg.

موضوع هذا المقال هو عبارة عن مِرساتين خشبيتين مزودتان بدعامات تم اكتشفهما في عام ٢٠١١ بواسطة الصيادون وذلك قبالة ساحل كارابورون في إسطنبول بالبحر الأسود . ولقد كشفت أعمال التوثيق أن البقايا تتكون من أربع قطع تنتمي إلى إطارين خشبيين متميزين . ويعود تاريخ المراسي إلى ما بين ٥٨٠-٤٦٠ قبل الميلاد وذلك وفقاً لتحليل كاربون ١٤ . ويبلغ الطول المحفوظ لمِرساة كارابورون ١ (ك أ ١) إلي ٤٦٠ .٥ سم، بينما يبلغ طول ذراع المِرساة إلي ١٨٤ .٥ سم . وبالرغم من وجود عدد أقل من الأجزاء المحفوظة إلا أن طول مِرساة كارابورون ٢ (ك أ ٢) يُقدر بحوالي ٥٠٢ سم وهذا بناءً على إعادة البناء . ومن الجدير بالذكر أن طريقة الربط المستخدمة في المقام الأول في كل من المِرساتين هي النقر واللسان . ويُعتقد أن كل مِرساة ربما كان لديها عارضة حجرية يتراوح وزنها بين ٢٠٠ إلي ٢٤٠ كجم .
