Brianne Taylor
Brianne Taylor is currently teaching voice and speech in the actor training programs at the Theatre Conservatory of the University of Missouri Kansas City. She received her MFA in acting from West Virginia University and a BFA in theatre/performance from Emporia State University (Kansas). She is an Assistant Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® and a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork. She is interested in the vibrational and energetic capabilities of the physical and psychological voice. Her current project is development of region-based performance (Great Plains, Appalachia) exploring the anthropology of the femme voice and how it defines, evolves, and co-exists with the masculine-dominated agricultural lifestyles.
