Journal overview

This journal has ceased (2011).

Myth & Symbol publishes original scientific articles pertaining to the study of myth and symbol. It is specifically devoted to a long-neglected, but rapidly developing, domain of research in the humanities dealing with mythological language and symbolic behaviour. The journal strives to be an open forum for the discussion of myth and the implications of myth in contemporary society by means of peer reviewed research articles, critical reviews, historical explorations, theoretical discussions and book reviews. The journal aims to become the platform for original interdisciplinary research in the field of the study of myth in all its aspects.
