Journal overview

This title has ceased (2018)

The DFI Journal is an international peer reviewed publication that supports authors whose research and practice covers a broad subject of deep foundation engineering and construction. We take a particular interest in research and case studies related to all systems designed and constructed for the support of heavy structures and excavations.

Topics we publish include:

• Driven and drilled piling systems
• Slurry walls
• Ground improvement geosystems
• Soil mixing
• Soil nailing and anchors

We also welcome papers that explore emerging topics related to:

• Innovative construction technologies
• Marine foundations
• Innovative retaining systems
• Cutoff wall systems
• Seismic retrofit

Submissions can take the form of case histories, state-of-the-practice reviews and innovative applications.

We support all submissions though a single-blind peer review process. For more information on contributing a manuscript visit our Instructions for Authors page.
