Antimicrobial Principles from Arnebia hispidissima

Abstract

Triterpenes of A. hispidissima (Lehm.) DC. were investigated and found to be active against selected bacteria and fungi. ß-Amyrin (0.29%) demonstrated the maximum activity against E. coli (IZ 16).
