Richard Cherwitz ([email protected]) is the Ernest A. Sharpe Centennial Professor Emeritus in the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin where has been a scholar of rhetoric for 41 years and the Founding Director of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship Consortium, a nationally acclaimed initiative in higher education. He is the recipient of numerous national and campus awards recognizing his teaching and research.
