Library-ITS Partnership: A Case Study

Abstract

This case study details the lessons learned and successful partnership between the Library and the Information Technology Services Departments at Central Piedmont Community College. The two joined forces to create a unified service desk where Information Technology Services Department (ITS) and Library employees worked side-by-side to offer a new kind of patron service. Practical advice and suggestions are provided to those who are interested in repeating the success of the detailed partnership.
