ABSTRACT

The psychological problems of college students are the focus of social concern since they are a group about to set foot in society. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of positive psychology-based literary therapy on college students’ happiness. This study adopts a mixed method. Participants did a Subject Well-Being (SWB) questionnaire. Participants were divided into two groups. There are three ways to classify. The first is based on the frequency of keeping a diary, the second is based on gender, and the third is based on grade. Independent sample T-test and likelihood ratio test were used to compare and analyze the experimental group and control group. Some interviews were also conducted in this study. The results of this study are that literary therapy based on positive psychology is effective in improving the happiness of college students. This provides a new way for solving college students’ psychological problems.
