Fran Martin

Fran Martin’s research focus on contemporary Chinese youth and media cultures, with a specialisation in critical approaches to gender and sexuality. Her most recent book is Dreams of Flight: The Lives of Chinese Women Students in the West (Duke U.P., 2022). Fran is Reader in Cultural Studies at The University of Melbourne.
