Information Systems Adoption and Performance: Evidence from Canadian Firms Linking Individual and Organizational Performance

, &

ABSTRACT

Implementing a new information system is bound to be a risky decision for any company. Studying the main factors that can help to improve the adoption success is crucial to help mitigate the risk of failure. This paper explores information systems adoption in a Canadian context and evaluates the main factors that drive performance using two models: 1) the task-technology fit (TTF) model and the technology acceptance model (TAM).
