Developing support for ethical building

This paper examines an interpretation of ethical building and some of the ideological structures which underpin it. The authors identify two steps to re-attaching 'user-positive' ethics to 'user-positive' types. The analysis moves from a consideration of the approach to design embodied in Responsive Environments to the identification and review of the contribution of the vernacular approach of Feng Shui.
