Abstract
Using recent experimental liquid structure factor data, the temperature dependence of the resistivity of liquid lead has been calculated in the framework of the Ziman formalism. The calculation was performed on the basis of the Heine-Abarenkov model pseudopotential, and a recent general model pseudopotential proposed by one of the present authors. In both cases, a variety of screening functions were used. Satisfactory agreement is obtained between the theoretical results and experimental data.
