Learning objectives

  • To understand and highlight the mechanisms of recurrent MR after prior transcatheter mitral valve edge-to-edge repair.

  • To describe the comprehensive imaging evaluation of recurrent MR and guide redo intervention.

  • To demonstrate the importance of advanced 3D TEE techniques in the pre-procedural imaging and intraprocedural guidance.

  • To establish a helpful guide in the imaging assessment of such cases.
