ABSTRACT
Material collected from different locations of China as part of a National Natural Science Foundation of China project has been revised. A total of 16 specimens of Charipinae have been examined, grouped in eight species: Alloxysta arcuata (Kieffer, 1902), A. castanea (Hartig, 1841), A. pilipennis (Hartig, 1840), A. pilosa Ferrer-Suay & Pujade-Villar, 2013, A. sawoniewiczi (Kierych, 1988), A. xanthopa (Thomson, 1862), Phaenoglyphis longicornis (Hartig, 1840) and P. villosa (Hartig, 1841). Phaenoglyphis longicornis (Hartig, 1840) is a new record from China and male of Alloxysta xanthopa (Thomson, 1862) is here described and illustrated for the first time. Information about this material is provided and an updated key to genera and species of Charipinae from China is presented.
