Abstract

Current research is dedicated to study the influence of angular velocity and gravity field on the thermomechanical interactions in a non-homogeneous, nonlocal, micropolar elastic half-space whose surface is subjected to a mechanical load. The formulation is established in the context of dual-phase-lag model of generalized thermoelasticity. The material is supposed to have non-homogeneous thermoelastic properties in the x-direction. Exact solution of the problem is procured by applying normal mode technique. Numerical computations for nonlocal stresses, displacement components and temperature field are performed for a suitable material and are depicted graphically. Certain special cases of interest have been derived from the current report.
