ABSTRACT
Three new species of the genus Airapus Stebnicka & Howden, 1996 and one new species of the genus Ataenius Harold, 1867 are described and illustrated: Airapus halmaheraensis sp. nov. (urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:0371DC47-DC68-450F-A313-5C17F3CF5870) from Halmahera Island, Airapus lamingtonensis sp. nov. (urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:403D76FE-9720-46F5-875F-7378B734B13C) from Papua New Guinea, Airapus vangviengensis sp. nov. (urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:528DEE2C-4DF3-455E-89F9-60200C875339) from Laos and Ataenius borneensis sp. nov. (urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:392A1EA5-CDD2-456E-B46E-D0F8F235928E) from Borneo. This manuscript is one of the several planned works on the Eupariini Schmidt, 1910 in the region.
