Abstract

Electro-optical properties of polymer-dispersed liquid crystals(PDLCs) are studied. PDLC materials are prepared by the UV curing method. Threshold voltage, contrast ratio and transmitted spectra of PDLC are measured. The relationship between the diameter of liquid crystal micro droplets in PDLC and the resulting electro-optical properties has been discussed.
