BRITISH SILURIAN BEYRICHIACEA (OSTRACODA). PART 2

ABSTRACT

In Part 2 those ostracods belonging to the Treposellidae, Beyrichiidae and Beyrichiacea Family Uncertain are described, and are referred to a total of 17 genera and 35 named species. The Treposellidae comprises six genera (one new) and seven species (four new). The Beyrichiidae comprises Beyrichiinae (five genera, one new; one new subgenus; and 19 species, five new) and Kloedeniinae (four genera; and six species). Beyrichiacea Family Uncertain comprises two genera (one new) and three species (one new). A total of seven other forms are referred to the Treposellidae, Beyrichiidae and Beyrichiacea Family Uncertain under open nomenclature or are simply recorded. The biostratigraphy of British Silurian Beyrichiacea and their palaeoecological and palaeobiogeographical context is also documented.

RÉSUMÉ

Dans la 2ème partie, les ostracodes appartenant aux Treposellidae, Beyrichiidae et Beyrichiacea Famille Incertaine sont décrits et attribués au total à 17 genres et 35 espèces nommées. Les Treposellidae comprennent six genres (l’un d’eux est nouveau) et sept espèces (dont quatre nouvelles). Les Beyrichiidae comprennent les Beyrichiinae (cinq genres, un nouveau; un sous-genre nouveau; et 19 espèces, dont cinq sont nouvelles) et les Kloedeniinae (quatre genres; et six espèces). Les Beyrichiacea Famille Incertaine comprennent deux genres (un nouveau) et trois espèces (une nouvelle). KURZFASSUNG

In Teil 2 werden die zu den Treposellidae, den Beyrichiidae und den Beyrichiacea incertae familiae, gehörenden Ostracoden beschrieben und auf insgesamt 17 Gattungen und 35 benannte Arten verwiesen. Die Treposellidae umfassen sechs Gattungen (eine neue) und sieben Arten (vier neue). Die Beyrichiidae umfassen die Beyrichiinae (fünf Gattungen, eine neue; eine neue Untergattung; 19 Arten, fünf neue) und die Kloedeniinae (vier Gattungen und sechs Arten). Die Beyrichiacea incertae familiae umfasst zwei Gattungen (eine neue) und drei Arten (eine neue).
