Kirsten Leng

Kirsten Leng is Associate Professor of Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her first book, Sexual Politics and Feminist Science: Women Sexologists in Germany, 1900-1930, was published by Cornell University Press in 2018. She is currently completing a book manuscript entitled Pleasure, Play, and Politics: A History of Humor in U.S. Feminism for the University of Nebraska Press. Her work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Women’s History, Gender and History, The Journal of the History of Sexuality, and Signs: A Journal of Women in Culture and Society.
