Dear Editor, we would like to share ideas on the publication ‘Management of long-COVID-19 patients with sleep disorders: practical advice to general practitioner [Citation1]. ’ Guezguez et al. make some suggestions for treating sleep disorders [Citation1]. Guezguez et al. offer advice on the following topics: (ii) General recommendations for managing sleep disorders in LC19Ps; and (iii) Specific recommendations, such as improving sleep hygiene, psychological or behavioral therapies, promising tools, and pharmacologic treatment [Citation1]. Guezguez et al. contend that the counseling provided is critical for LC19Ps to resume their normal lives and aid in the rehabilitation of their mental health [Citation1].
The practitioner’s role in the COVID-19 outbreak is fascinating since the information teaches us how to respond to such crises in the future. There is a problem with Long-COVID-19 that requires special attention. In addition to Mayo’s fundamental worries, there are other important difficulties that should be recognized. Although it was still possible that the patient had undiscovered co-morbid illnesses, COVID-19 corroborated the patient’s prior apparent clinical diagnosis. Moreover, the patient might be given a second COVID-19 [Citation2]. The topic of earlier vaccines must come last. There must be sufficient evidence to reach a determination on how the illness affects health problems. There should be sufficient knowledge. One would assume that extended COVID-19, sometimes referred to as long COVID, is not the main cause of all the symptoms a patient with the illness encounters.
