We are delighted to announce the winner of this year’s Journal of Gender Studies Blu Tirohl Prize. The winners of this year’s prize are Alejandra Castellanos Breton and Jose Guillermo Ricalde Perez for their article ‘Entanglements between gender equality and multiculturalism discourses: the case of Sweden’

The Blu Tirohl prize is awarded in recognition of the substantial contribution made by Blu Tirohl to the Journal and the wider world of gender studies and feminism during two decades of work as Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Gender Studies. The Blu Tirohl Prize will be awarded annually to an author whose work addresses Blu’s interests and passions: diversity, inclusion, intersectionality and victimization.
