Established in 1972, the International Journal of Mental Health is an international peer-reviewed journal for researchers, clinicians, and educators, in psychiatry and related disciplines including clinical psychology, social work, and behavioral science.

The International Journal of Mental Health seeks contributions that will promote mental health across populations, communities, and cultures, through innovative approaches to identification, prevention, and treatment. The International Journal of Mental Health is in particular interested in publishing: manuscripts focusing on novel delivery modalities and patient-centered outcomes; manuscripts grounded in transdiagnostic and/or transcultural frameworks; and manuscripts reporting on research conducted in real-world settings including in (but not limited to) low and middle income countries.
