South African Journal of Plant and Soil is the journal of the Combined Congress Continuing Committee, representing the Soil Science Society of South Africa, South African Society of Crop Production and Southern African Society for Horticultural Science.


SSSSA
The SSSSA is a scientific society which promotes the advancement of soil science and soil technology as well as the responsible practicing thereof by its members with the view to the long-term sustainable utilisation of the environment in the interest of the community.

SASCP
The South African Society of Crop Production is a science-based organisation which provides leadership in crop science to promote training, research and technology transfer. The SASCP is committed to greater public understanding of science-based management of soils, crops and the environment, for long term sustainable use and to the benefit of society.

SASHS
The Southern African Society for Horticultural Sciences (SASHS) was founded in 1989 to promote horticultural science in South Africa and neighbouring countries.
