John Saltmarsh

John Saltmarsh is Professor Emeritus of Higher Education in the Department of Leadership in Education in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He publishes widely on community-engaged teaching, learning, and research, and organizational change in higher education. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of College Unbound in Providence, Rhode Island, and he serves as a Visiting Fellow with the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Timothy Eatman

Timothy K. Eatman, PhD, an educational sociologist and publicly engaged scholar, serves as the Inaugural Dean of the Honors Living–Learning Community and Professor of Urban Education at Rutgers University–Newark. Tim is in his second term on the board of directors of the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), currently serving as Chair of the membership committee and serving as Vice-Chair of the board for the 2022–2023 term. Also, with AAC&U, Tim serves as a faculty member of the Institute on High Impact Practices for Student Success. He is a member of the National Advisory Committee for the Carnegie Engagement Classification for Community Engagement and the National Advisory board for Bringing Theory to Practice.

Na’tisha Mills

Na’tisha Mills is Program Manager at Embrace Boston, and in that role has been critical in coordinating Embrace Boston’s local reparations, in partnership with key advocacy groups. Mills hosts a series of MA Statewide Reparations Convenings each year, activating a community base of over 1,000+ individuals from across the Commonwealth who are interested in learning about the local and national reparations movement. Appointed to the Boston Reparations Taskforce by the City of Boston’s Mayor Wu in February 2023, Mills will aid in offering a recommended repair and reconciliation strategy for the municipality of Boston over the next 2 years.
