Abstract
The equation for the square of the rate of change of condenser voltage in a non-linear RLC circuit is derived, and it is shown that certain special cases lead to Riccati's equation or to Abel's equation of the first kind. The connection with the non-dissipative ease previously treated by Mozumder is pointed out.
