Shengping Zheng received a B. S. from Nankai University and an M. S. from Beijing University and the University of Chicago. He earned a PhD in chemistry from Columbia University in 2005. He is currently a professor of chemistry at Hunter College. He enjoys writing poems, solving puzzles, and traveling with his family.
