Chips from the Quarry

ONE-TWO PEGMATITE PUNCH: Two articles on pegmatites spilled over from the January/February pegmatite issue into this issue: one on the Brown Derby pegmatite in Colorado by Philip M. Persson and Mark Ivan Jacobson (pages 128–140), and another on the Montebrasite pegmatite in France also by Jacobson (pages 181–187). In addition, Sarah Hanson has a review of the newly published book Frank Perham: Adventures in Pegmatite Mining 2023 (page 190–191).
