Sebastián Muñoz Ruz holds a Ph.D. in Latin American Cultural and Literary Studies from The Ohio State University. His current research focuses on cultural studies addressing soccer/football, specifically analyzing memoirs, films, and literature in 20th and 21st Century Chile. His research is centered on the creation and reproduction of discourses of identity within the transition/post-dictatorship era.
