Vineet Gairola

Vineet Gairola is a Ph.D. Scholar of Psychology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. He has been researching ritual practices and the processions of devī-devtās (local Hindu deities) in the Garhwal Himalayas. He is the winner of the Emerging Scholar Award by Religion in Society Research Network, USA, the Excellence in Research Award by IIT Hyderabad, the Stephen Mitchell Award given by APA (Division 39), the Psychoanalytic Research Exceptional Contribution Award by IPA, and the Student Research Award 2021 from Division 36 of the APA.
