Abstract
Stain's two sample approach is extended here to obtain two stage analogues of Tukey-s T and Sheffé-s s methods of multiple comparisons underconditions of variance heterogeneity in a one way Layout. The two stage I-method is based on the distribution of the range of i.i. d. Student c variables.Several graphs are-provided for she upper call of chat distribution. The two stags S-method uses the distribution of a quadratic form in such, variables. The critical values for this procedure are approximated by standard techniques and a cable is provided.A numerical example is given for illustrating the new procedures.
