Vincent Kling
Vincent Kling is professor of German and French at La Salle University in Philadelphia. His translation of Aglaja Veteranyi’s novel Why the Child is Cooking in the Polenta was awarded the Schle-gel-Tieck Prize in 2012, and his translation of Heimito von Doderer’s novel The Strudlhof Steps was awarded the Helen and Kurt Wolff Prize in 2022. He is at work on a translation of the complete fairy tales of Wilhelm Hauff for New York Review Books.
