David Wayne Thomas is Associate Professor of English at the University of Notre Dame. His research lies principally in Victorian literature, including literature of the British Empire, and in broadly modern topics in literature, literary theory, social theory, and law. He has taught previously at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
