Josefina Báez (La Romana, D R, 1960) is a storyteller, ArteSana, performer, writer, and theatre director. She is the founder and director of Latinarte/Ay Ombe Theatre (1986). Her books include Dominicanish (2000), Comrade, Bliss Ain’t Playing (2007), Levente no (2012), and As Is É (2015).
