Ellen McClure

Ellen McClure is Professor of French and History at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she is also currently serving as Director of the Institute for the Humanities. She is the author of numerous articles focusing on the intersection of literature, religion, and politics, especially diplomacy, in seventeenth-century France and her most recent book is The Logic of Idolatry in Seventeenth-Century French Literature (Boydell & Brewer, 2020).
