This article refers to:
RETRACTED ARTICLE: Sublingual misoprostol prior to insertion of a T380A intrauterine device in women with no previous vaginal delivery

We, the Editor and Publisher of European Journal of Contraception and Reproductive Health Care, have retracted the following article:

Zakia Mahdy Ibrahim & Waleed Ali Sayed Ahmed (2013) Sublingual misoprostol prior to insertion of a T380A intrauterine device in women with no previous vaginal delivery, The European Journal of Contraception & Reproductive Health Care, 18:4, 300-308, DOI:10.3109/13625187.2013.800855.

Since publication, significant concerns have been raised about the integrity of the data and reported results in the article. When approached for an explanation, the authors fully cooperated with the investigation and provided responses to our queries. However, these responses have not sufficiently addressed our concerns and they have not been able to provide the raw data for review. As we cannot confirm the validity of the study as reported, we are therefore retracting the article. The authors have been informed of this decision.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and COPE guidelines.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
