Article title: Psychometric properties of the French Hot Flash Related Daily Interference Scale (HFRDIS)

In accordance with the request of the author of the original English version, our French translation of the HFRDIS questionary has been removed from the supplementary material. However, our French version of the HFRDIS questionnaire is deposited into the e provide at Mapi and is available in ePROVIDE (https://eprovide.mapi-trust.org/), as well as a French translation performed by Mapi/ICON Language Services.

Our French version has undergone a full linguistic validation methodology including evaluation of item quality, dimension structure, internal consistency, reproducibility of scores and conceptual validity.

The only difference between these two translations in French is the use of the term ‘interférence’ in our French version instead of ‘impact’ in the Mapi translation. Indeed, the term ‘interférence’ was preferred to the term ‘impact’ because, in our opinion, it is scientifically more concrete and representative.

Nevertheless, we confirm that we do not believe this difference would have any impact on the findings of the study.
