Malte Kobel

Malte Kobel is a musicologist and Lecturer at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart. In 2022, he was awarded a PhD for the dissertation “The musicking voice: performance, affect and listening” at Kingston University London – funded through scholarships from Kingston University and techne/AHRC. His research interests cover sound studies, performance studies, media theory, music aesthetics and voice.
