Abstract

Li Ruo is from Henan Province and is a member of the Picun Literature Group in Beijing. She left her hometown more than ten years ago and has worked in both southern and northern China. She loves literature and is a freelance writer for the non-fiction column “The Human World” (“Renjian”) on NetEase.com.

Tammy Lai-Ming Ho

Translator Tammy Lai-Ming Ho is the founding co-editor of Asian Cha and an editor of the academic journal Hong Kong Studies. She is an associate professor at Hong Kong Baptist University and a recipient of the Young Artist Award in Literary Arts presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
