The Meningococcal section features a modeling study of different vaccination strategies (Graña, p 5603), a report on the evolution of strain coverage by the 4CMenB vaccine in France (Hong, p 5614), and an estimate of the impact of hurricane Maria on the uptake of MCV and other vaccines in Puerto Rico (Colón-López, p 5623).

Two Pneumococcal articles include a review of epidemiology of non-vaccine strains (Du, p 5628), and a report on the burden of community-acquired pneumonia in southern China (Jiang, p 5638).

Three articles on Rotavirus investigate the impact of vaccination on child hospitalizations in Italy (Dettori, p 5646), effectiveness of self-financed vaccination in Japan (Ito, p 5650), and a preclinical trial of maternal immunization (Yin, p 5656).

Finally, we are happy to present a review of the development of the Chinese vaccine Production industry during the last decade (Wang, p 5666).
