ABSTRACT

Upon reflection on editor and editorial board interviews, archived documents, and discussions with counseling leaders, we present the historical context, current state, and future growth opportunities for the Journal of Counselor Leadership and Advocacy. The thematic and salient values of connection through relationships, mentorship, commitment, and development are highlighted as they relate to Chi Sigma Iota’s Principles and Practices of Leadership Excellence.
