Drugs for cardiovascular disease. Spoilt for choice?

Abstract

It is believed that the number of drugs, and indeed different classes of drugs, potentially available for treating cardiovascular disease has increased enormously. The object of this conference, held at the Royal College of Physicians in London on 1st and 2nd May 1997, was to evaluate both current treatment options and alternative research strategies.
