Application of the Close-value Method and the RSR Method for Medical Quality for Nearly Ten Years in an Upper First-Class Hospital in Guangxi

Abstract

On the Evaluation of the Medical Quality of a Grade-A Hospital in Guangxi Province Over the Last Ten Years with the Application of the Close-value Method and the RSR Grading Method.

With the progress of the new health care reform [], competition in the health care market has become fiercer and medical quality has become the core and essence of modern hospital management, which is not only closely related to the patients’ life expectancy and quality but also directly affects the survival and development of the hospitals themselves. Identifying ways to optimize and continuously improve both the medical quality as well as the comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals has become the main theme of hospital management []. Medical quality is a complex, multi-factor, and multi-index system, and the primary problem to be solved in the continuous process of improving medical quality is carrying out an objective, comprehensive, and accurate analysis and evaluation of the medical quality. The present thesis evaluates the medical quality of a grade-A hospital in Guangxi province, with the application of the close-value method and RSR grading method, and provides a reference for medical quality control and management.
