Doug Ward

Doug Ward ([email protected]) is an Associate Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence and an Associate Professor of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. His work focuses on technology in teaching, online and flexible pedagogy, media strategy, editing, cultural history, and the future of higher education.

Heidi G. Loshbaugh

A former community college STEM dean, Heidi G. Loshbaugh is a Senior Research Associate with Ethnography & Evaluation Research at University of Colorado, Boulder. Her work focuses on the intersection of research, practice, and policy by supporting faculty and institutions to develop inclusive climates, undertake systemic innovations, and become more student-centered.

Alison L. Gibbs

Alison L. Gibbs is a Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Statistical Sciences at the University of Toronto. She brings her years of experience in data science teaching, curriculum development, and leadership to her current role as the Director of the university’s Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation.

Tim Henkel

Tim Henkel leads teaching and learning initiatives at the University of South Florida (USF), serving as Assistant Vice Provost and Director of the USF Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning.

Greg Siering

Greg Siering directs the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning at Indiana University Bloomington, where he focuses on promoting inclusive teaching and evidence-based practice. His academic background is in rhetoric and composition, with years of experience teaching first-year writing.

Jim Williamson

Mark Kayser

Mark Kayser is an Instructional Designer at the UCLA Teaching & Learning Center. He designs online and blended courses with a primary focus on STEM courses and the unique challenge these domains pose to online learners. For the last 15 years he has also taught mathematics courses at the collegiate level.
