Franz Baumann

Franz Baumann served as a United Nations official for over three decades. His last assignment in 2015 was Special Adviser on Environment and Peace Operations with the rank of Assistant Secretary-General. He is the president-elect of the Academic Council on the United Nations System and from 2017 to 2021 was a visiting research professor at New York University.
