Sonya R. DiPalma

Sonya DiPalma, chair of the Department of Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina Asheville, teaches public relations, social media, theory, and media ethics courses. Her research interests include framing theory, particularly shifts in framing an issue, and the utilization and influence of social media within strategic communication.
