Ghislaine McDayter

GHISLAINE MCDAYTER is a Presidential Professor of Literature in the Department of English at Bucknell University. She has published widely on Romanticism and nineteenth-century literature. Her most recent books include Byromania and the Birth of Celebrity Culture, and a three volume collection, Flirtation and Courtship in Nineteenth-Century Culture co-edited with John Hunter (Taylor and Francis, 2022). She is presently completing a manuscript, tentatively titled Becoming Coquettes: Feminism and Flirtation in British Nineteenth-Century Literature.
