Abstract
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides a website found at cdc.gov/alcohol to provide the public with information on the impact of excessive alcohol on health. The strategies provided on the website can help communities create an environment that discourages excessive alcohol consumption, reducing alcohol-related fatalities, costs, and other harm. The website provides fact sheets by state, quick alcohol self-assessments, and other online tools to support states and communities in the prevention of excessive drinking.
