Fotini Vassiliou

Fotini Vassiliou is Assistant Professor in Phenomenology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is the editor of Phenomenological Perspectives on Aesthetics and Art, special issue XXI of The New Yearbook for Phenomenology and Phenomenological Philosophy. Her primary interests lie in 19th and 20th century Continental Philosophy, especially in the phenomenological and existential traditions. Her research concentrates on two main strands, namely Philosophy of Perception and Phenomenological Aesthetics, as they relate to the themes of embodiment, lifeworld primordiality, and conceptuality.
